York County CWJC

A HAND UP--NOT A HAND OUT
REBUILDING LIVES

York County Christian Women's Job Corps is a non-profit ministry striving to give women in need hope for a future. Through a holistic approach, women are empowered to develop the appropriate life skills and job skills needed to bring them to the point of economic sufficiency, personal responsibility, and spiritual awareness.

Mentoring: Woman to Woman

The key to the success of CWJC is mentor relationships--woman to woman. Mentoring is a great opportunity to minister one-on-one. It's buildinga relationship that will change a life and provide an opportunity to model the love of Christ.

 What is a mentor?
*A woman of faith who is a little further along in her journey and willing to share what she has learned with another woman
*A cheerleader and encourager
*A teacher and motivator
*A coach and team member

We provide training and monthly mentor meetings
Mentors commit at least 2 hrs. weekly to mentoring--you plan your own schedules.
